Trying to find middle names for twin girls.....

We have finally decided on first names for our soon to arrive (in March) twin girls....Alice & Olive.  I chose them because while they don't rhyme and they don't start with the same letters they are still somewhat similar with having 5 letters each and with just the 1st and 4th letters being different. I, however, keep drawing blanks on middle names. We live in England and prefer names that are more traditional & not spelled uniquely (our 7yo daughter is Lucille Jane, Lucy for short & our 10yo son is Samuel John, Sam for short). Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • I was just thinking too that the letters in Olive ALMOST spell Violet....and then I thought Violet might make a cute middle name for Alice....then if you take some of the letters from Alice you can make the name Lea or Lia or Lacie to go with Olive....

    Olive Lacie
    Alice Violet

  • Alice Victoria & Olive Sophia sound cute. Vice versa works too! Or did you want them to both have the same middle name?
