If a question gets deleted by the asker, does anyone lose credits?

My brain isn't functioning yet and I can't remember. I know that questions I've answered have been deleted, but I don't keep track of credits, so I never noticed if they were deducted.

  • In my experience only the person doing the deleting loses points

  • I think only the OP. I don't keep track either, but when I've been really, really close to the next level, I don't think someone deleting a question has had a negative effect on my points.

  • I don't think the questions we answer gets points taken away just the person who deleted the question. But who knows

  • No, you will not lose your points. I've had this happen several times, where a question was deleted that contained an answer of mine with several voteups, and I did not lose any points. Only the OP deleter will have a deduction.

  • No, just the original poster asker.

  • I believe only the original poster does, but I'm not absolutely sure.
