Is it normal for your breast tenderness to be MUCH more mild than your first pregnancy if you are still breastfeeding another baby?

I'm 5 weeks pregnant and still nursing my 18 month old DS.

Is it normal for them not to hurt as bad as they did with the first baby since I'm still nursing?

They do hurt a bit but not as much as the first baby.

  • My first they never hurt. Second they were awful and my third just a bit of pain. It is different for each and every pregnancy.

  • My first was sore and uncomfortable for the first few weeks. The second, I only noticed the lack of needing a bra.

  • I thought it was difficult~ I really needed to use my labor coping techniques to get through sometimes!
    But worth it!
I tandemed after delivering for a year, too.
