can you overheat your baby

i was sleeping and woke up sweating and i am 13 weeks preg and a few days is their any way i could overheat my baby and not even know it?? i heard your baby can overheat by alot of things.

  • You sweating wont hurt the baby unless you had a fever above 101.0. Also it is not recomended to take a bath with water being hotter than 100.5 degrees.

  • Yes, but not when you are pregnant:) You can overheat your child when they already on this world and you put too much clothes on them, or you put them in too hot water, etc. But you can't boil up your water in your tummy:) Yes, it is really dangerous if the pregnant mum has 38 or higher temperature. But sweating at night...

  • Thats normal, I wake up in sweats too. It aint hurt him, he still kicking me like crazy. Just get a fan, just to be more comfortable.
