How to get nail polish off and fake leather couch?

my kid decided to paint nails without permision how and got it on the couch ahhhhh!!!!!

  • I would try to freeze it and carefuly pick it off. Acetone may take off the finish. If all else fails, you could find an exact match paint ( use a touch-up bush.) If you take a picture of it, some body shops or can scan your color and match it exactly. Good luck. :-)

  • Sol-U-Mel works on removing nail polish from carpet - it should also work on your couch.

  • Magic Eraser. I didn't use it for nail polish but did for ink. The only problem is it will make that area of your couch cleaner than the rest of it, so you may have to use it on the whole thing.

  • This actually happened to us! But my adventureous twerps not only used fingernail polish but also permanent marker! We used orangeclean and it came off immediately.

  • Try shaving cream.... it works to get it out of carpet.
