friends who have a hard time conceiving

I feel bad for my friends who have had a hard time conceiving how can you talk about this situation without it being awkward?

  • i have felt bad too. when i got pregnant, one friend just had a m/c and two were trying to conceive. they were all happy for my pregnancy...even though it was my 5th, and i wasn't trying.

  • thats a hard one. my sils have trouble concieving then one day they are able to have kids. they happen to see a dr who told them to do something with herbs. which worked for 2 yet the other has problems still. weird. i have never had any problem and currently a friend of mine wants to have a baby but she tied her tubes 5 yrs back. gosh i would never do something so permanent. my sils did fostering before they were able to have kids of their owns. maybe you could talk about alternatives.

  • I think in general...yes uncomfortable. Just tell them they are trying to hard and not enjoying themselves and let nature take its course.
