There are different types of Strokes, and if caught early enough the damage can be reversed. My Father died from a massive stroke, but had 5 of them over a period of 10 yrs before he died. It's best to consult with a Dr that specializes in this area...

  • Have them smile, raise both arms, if one side is drooping that's a big sign. Also talking - if they're slurring, another big sign. If you suspect a stroke, get the person to an ER ASAP - if they're treated within a certain amount of hours (3 or 4) damage will be minimal, but if they're not treated within that short window, they'll have a lot more residual damage. And if you suspect you may have had a stroke, call 911 if you don't have anyone with youc apable of driving, do not drive yourself.

  • I've heard that if the victim cannot smile or a side of their face is drooping they are having a stroke?

  • My father had a mini stroke about 14 years ago. He started getting dementia and it seems he suffered one but will find out tomorrow 100% with the doctors. Thanks ladies.
