If you could live in any era, which would it be?

I'm thinking the 50's.

  • Oh and just for one day I would want to live waaaay back when women wore those outfits with the pointy tall hats and the tule hanging off of them. Just so I could wear the clothes...like midevil times lol....only one day though...and hopefully NOT on my period lol.

  • Me too! The 50's just seemed to be more peaceful and safe. My grandma tells me stories of her childhood and they seem so wonderful.

  • Right now, hands down.

I'm not willing to go back to any era before cellphones, tampons, indoor plumbing, hot showers, in-house washer and dryer, microwaves and fuel-efficient cars.

The 50s is off my list --if for no other reason than regular bathing was uncommon, and people wore the same clothes for weeks before washing them. Yum.

  • Idk, I think to live in the late 1800's would be cool. Just think of all the new inventions around that time, the phone, indoor plumbing, electricity etc. Or I have always loved the 40's and it music.
