What does it mean when a question is bumped?

Whats is mean to bump a someones question ?

  • bumping makes it go back to the top of the list, this is generally done when an answer has not been received

  • You can bump a questions when you think it is a good one, when you don't have an answer but want to support the poster or just to get a the points for bumping. Bumped questions appear as the fifth question in a section, at the bottom of every answer page and on the recently bumped list. Bumped questions get seen by more people. There are awards for bumping questions and for having your questions bumped and both the bumper and the bumpee receive credits, when a question is bumped.

  • When someone bumps your question, in this answers section, it means they liked your question, or support your point of view. They get credfits, and you get credits. If you bump a post in a group, it goes to the top of the forum, where it will get more notice.
