teacup dogs

Does anyone know where I can adopt a teacup dog/puppy? I'd like a teacup yorkie. But I can never seem to find them anywhere.

  • Just wondering if your familiar with the personality of teacup dogs? They are high maintance medically so you need to have the money to take them to the vet ALOT. They are hard wired to be nervous so they are yippy and can have a tendacy to nip. Be sure to educate yourself before doing this :). You may change your mind.

  • What on earth is a tea cup dog?!

  • There is no such thing! People claiming that they have a teacup anything are puppymills breeding two runts together. They are breeding unhethy dogs and bring litters into the world that more often than no have health problems

  • What KyliesMom said! Please don't support these "breeders". They are just waaayyy overpriced, and usually unhealthy, runts. Yorkies are already small; why do they need to be any smaller??

  • I agree with mistynights234- & KyliesMom5- if by chance you do find a puppy Mill Breeder that has some Tiny Puppies- they are going to charge anywhere from 1000 to 5000 dollars! Seriously! and then the puppy will most likely have some kind of problems- i have a Chi/Yorkie Mix- she is about 7 pounds; a little overweight b/c she Loves to eat!LOL! She is the Best Dog Ever- I promise you can find your New Best Friend at the shelter- There are So Many sitting there waiting........ Wishing you lots of luck!

  • There is no such thing as a teacup dog. They come from places like this.
Look at those pictures, read the articles and then sit back and ask if you want to support an industry that does this to a living animal.

  • Those types of dogs do not go "adoptable" - too popular. If you really want one, you will have to find a breeder.

  • Just recently right before Christmas, I google free puppies, and under that heading I saw a lot of yorkies tea cups one for free. I have one so I can understand why anyone with a bunch of little ones would want to get rid of them quick. Don't spend a lot of money on a pedigree, save a life from the pound, sometimes they have those tea cups.

  • Don't. Save yourself the nightmare and get the real dog.
