What table foods do you feed your 9 month old?

Besides baby food what do you give your baby to eat?

I have only attempted a banana so far...what else can he eat at this point?

  • mine are long since past that age...but when they were that little banana and baby pasta was the only "table food" i would have considered...although i did see someone feeding their 7-month old cheesies and fries which really disgusted me, lol ! I was pretty by the book.....

  • my dd started eating all table foods at 8 months old she refused to eat baby food at this age! she has waffles, spaghetti, chicken alfrado, pears, apples, oranges, rolls, mac and cheese! u name it she will eat it! she also has 9 teeth so i cut things up kinda small and she does great! i dont feed her red meat as a personal choice and i wont feed her eggs until she is a year old!

  • We don't use jar food. We just give whatever fruit or veggie we are eating. I just mash it with a fork and share with her off my plate.

  • My little girl is 9 months old right now. The finger foods she eats now are little pieces of steamed carrots and apples, pieces of banana, whole wheat bread and biscuits, we are going to try peas soon.
