  • I don't know what you do with it now, but I have lots of recipes to use it in. I also started using the turkey sausage since it's a little healthier. Do you like casseroles? In fact, I'm making Confetti Sausage and Rice tonite for dinner. It's a skillet meal and very good.

  • Red beans and rice!

  • You could use it as a topping on pizza, add it to onions and green pepper and cook it up to be put on a hero roll as a hot sandwich or even add mozzarella and sauce or without if you prefer, maybe a stew that uses sausage instead of cubed beef, and that's all that comes to mind at the moment.

  • I mostly use it to make jambalaya or fry it up with sauerkraut.

  • Jambalaya, red beans and rice, sausage pasta, sausage with mushrooms and red onions, sausage macaroni casserole (not the actual name, just what I call it), gumbo.

I'm sure I can think of more, but that's all right now.

  • i like the ideas you have already seen. when i make smoked sausage, i either serve it in links with a side of mashed potatoes, or i slice it up and serve it in red beans n rice, or with peppers and onions and tomato sauce over pasta. the possibilites are endless!

  • It's also very good sliced up and tossed in fettucini with alfredo sauce.
