What should a 2 yr old call my friends - auntie? ms/mrs/mr? something else?

  • I think it's funny that a lot of you have said to call them by their names - I remember being little and having to call everyone Ms. Last Name/Mr. Last Name. I guess times have changed!

  • My kids call our friends by name like we do. We only have a few friends, and they are close friends. Other than that, any non-family adult is referred to in proper status: Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss, sir, ma'am.

  • depends on how close the friends. my kids call my bff aunty manda. if it's people at church we call each other '"sister" so-n-so, other than that it's miss, ms, mrs, mr...unless they ask that they don't be called that and just their normal name. like i prefer to be called by my name, except at work, where they say 'mrs'.
