Is there a limit to too much milk for a toddler (23 months old)? She has 24-30 oz per day as an average......

  • i know I was told 16-20 oz for my 13 month old. But I think it should be less because they should be filling up on food now not milk.

  • Yes. 3 servings of dairy a day is plenty. 3 servings of milk would be 24 oz. If she's getting other dairy, it's way too much - 1 oz of cheese, 6 oz of yogurt, are servings. Too much dairy can constipate, can cause them to not want to eat, thus affecting their weight, etc. No more than 24 oz of milk if that's the only dairy she's taking in.
