  • YA IT REALLY IS JUST AN ESTIMATION WHEN THEY GIVE YOU YOUR EXPECTED DUE DATE AT 1ST. DONT WORRY, JUST MAKE SURE YOU TAKE EXTRA GOOD CARE OF YOURSELF SINCE YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY HAD 2 MISCARRIAGES. ONCE YOU MAKE IT BEYOND 12 WEEKS YOU ARE OUT OF THE HIGH RISK STAGE, BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A POSSIBILITY OF LOSING THE BABY AT ANY TIME.
    GOOD LUCK! AND CONGRATS!

  • If you conceived later then you think and you're not as far along as you thought.. yes you can continue a healthy normal pregnancy. (If your cycle was off and you ovulated later then normal this can happen) If the development has stopped or not progressed... it is possible the pregnancy will not continue. Your health care provider should have you come back in for a second sonogram to check for development in a week or two. I'm sorry to hear you've had such a rough year. I will be hoping its just a case of your cycle being off kilter. Good luck Mom.
