Can a baby b over weight?

i know it sounds crazy but my 1omonth old cousin is 26pounds and 25 3/4 inches tall! he can hardly sit up on his own and he is not crawling yet! i think it might have something to do with his weight! any time he makes a sound they are shoving a bottle down his throat! and all bottles are 8oz and they all have cereal in them so he can "sleep better" *rolls eyes*

  • it also depends on genetics. my 1yr old is 30lbs & 28". He's very active, very fast & walking. My dr. said its normal for his size & his genetics. My dh is 275lbs & 6'7"
