  • That was my dad. I had to learn that the opinion that truly mattered was the one of the woman I see in the mirror every day.

  • if there is, I would not know!!! I do not live my life attempting to please anyone other than myself! Quite frankly, I do not give a shit about anyone other than myself (#1) and my son(#2).

  • no cause no matter what a person may never be pleased so what's the point... life is to short to try to make others happy and try to accept you... and if they have an problem with your life then they don't need to be in it. easy as pie.

  • It never easy to please anyone and it not easy to please yourself

Answer by tinamarie1972 at 4:29 AM on Jan. 4, 2011

  • YES. 2 in fact. It has almost ruined my life completely. And I have come to the conclusion that it doesn't matter what they think of me and it isn't me that has the problem, it's THEM. I'm over it. Done. Washed my hands of it. I cannot function otherwise with the idea in my head lurking of how can I change myself to better please them. I am the best me and I answer to NO ONE but God and have only Him to please. I save my self-improvements to be judged by the one who walked on water!
