  • If you ask me, anyone who thinks it's "a sign" is out of their mind! LOL This is just like the whole Y2K and 2012 crap. Sure, this is not pure crap, it did happen, but it's not a "sign."

    Read this.
The birds suffered from internal injuries....weather was a factor....lightening, high winds...it has happened before/

  • This sounds like mass elimination. But on a wide scale and at the same time. Red wing black birds are primarily the dieters of mayflies and dragonflies. Some seeds. Other than that the uses aren't said for their dietary benefits to the environment and they are exploding in population in droves! Unless they are killed at one time they overpopulate and supposedly hurt the farms (which comprise 50% of the Beebe areas' land)

  • OR...kerp1960 has a valid point that the weather did get chaotic that day. Lightning and fireworks causing trauma to the birds.

As for the bottom feeder fish a week prior to the birds, they eat mosquitos and other insects above water and bottom feed carnivore diets. The lightning? No fireworks, ...plus they are the type to measure the 1st line of toxicity in the water if it's causing food chain problems. Makes it seems like a related water contamination or too much algae, bacterium, or over growth of some chemical thing.

  • It means absolutely nothing. Throughout history, every coincidental occurrence has been tacked to a religious experience, warning, or sign- only later to have been proven a complete fluke of nature.

Anyone who believes this is a "sign" should have their head examined.

  • This has happened in the past - it's not a sign its a phenomenon. If you look, at any particular point in time there are crazy things happening all over the world, they don't always make the news.
