worried

I am a little nervous I have called in sick to work two times in the last wk. I am just afraid that people are going to start talking. I work with a variety of people who have had children and women who haven't. I just don't know what to do I am trying really hard to keep my 40 hours a week and being able to tolerate 13 hour days is kinda rough!!

  • As long as your work is getting completed on time, I would not worry about this

  • How long have you worked there? Were you actually sick or just calling in? Are you normally on time, work hard, etc.?

  • I dont think you need to worry unless you're doing this often... more than twice a year.

  • Maybe it's time to look for a new job? It kidna sounds like this job isn't a good fit for you.
I wouldn't worry about what people are saying though. Everyone has sick days.

  • thanks. I really have been sick. I have been getting migraines and throwing up. I just don't feel like I can be safe doing my job with a migraine it takes so much out of me. I do love my job but I am just a person who tends to feel bad because I know staffing can be an issue at work.
