Can you get a concussion from a forehead bump?

In the time it took to put the baby to bed the 2 three year olds bumped heads and both have bumps. The one is just red a bit swollen. The other is purple and I had to put ice on it. Should I put them down for nap? If not, how long should I wait?

  • Yes- and I would hold off on the nap. Is it a bump or a dent? Better a bump (outward) than a dent-

  • It's a bump.

  • I would keep them up for a lil while just to double check. Watch for odd behavior & pupils that are different sizes, falling asleep randomly or throwing up.
