Magic Angel Eyes Contacts

Has anyone ever heard of these or used them? I know they are for cosmetic purposes but I was worried about them not being fitted by an eye doctor and/or causing eye problems. My teenage daughter wants a pair but I'm undecided so I want some opinions please.

  • DO NOT DO IT! My friend used something like that years ago and has bad eye problems now, he can't wear any contact lenses any more.

  • All contact lenses should be fitted by a professional. They can do some pretty major damage if they aren't right for your eye.

  • If you cannot purchase them through an eye care professional, don't purchase them at all.

  • From what I was told by my adult son, these can no longer be bought without a prescription.

  • If your daughter isn't going to be wearing them all the time, like most contact lens users, I don't see a problem. If she wants to wear them ALL the time, she needs to see the eye doctor about them.

  • Here is the website for them.  If she really wants them, there are many contact lens places where she can be fitted for them.
