  • Chase shows every single transaction made. Is there a transaction on your account that doesn't add up?

  • You def need to check every transaction online.
If you cant access it online then they have an auto system.

  • Balance your checkbook....write every check in your check register and use a calculator to balance .....if there is a mistake made by the bank, they will fix it. If YOU make the mistake, you will get an overdraft charge. That is the way it has always been done at banks.

  • If you withdrew money before a check had cleared it's possible that you bounced. I hope that's not the case. Maybe it was just a bank error?

Can you start leaving a smaller buffer in your account?
