Was your 2nd/3rd delivery faster than your 1st?

I'm due in March with my 2nd child, and I was just curious how much faster deliveries were after the 1st. Other moms have said that their delivery time was significantly cut down. Was yours??

  • No. My second was longer, and my third was even longer. I'm due again in April, hopefully this won't be as long.
I have very long labors, I have trouble dilating for some reason.

  • My first baby was a 27.5 hour labor with 3 hours of pushing.

My second baby was a 9 hour labor with about 30 seconds of pushing.

  • Yep! I have fast labor/delivery anyway. But my first was about 9 hours, second was about 5 hours, and third was about 4.5 hours.

  • My second baby came within a few hours of the putosin 4-6 with about 30 seconds of pushing (spell check) and my first was on his own, about 12 hours with 20 minutes of pushing.
