  • I do mine all day about 8 hrs on low. Add lots of spices and it will turn out yummy.

  • 5 hours on high or 8 to 10 hours on low.

  • I usually season, slice onion, mince garlic and cover the roast with water to make a yummy broth. I cook all of that for about 8 hours on high adding water as needed. Then for the last hour I add mushrooms, red potatoes, and carrots.

If I'm making it for lunch I put the meat, garlic and onions on before I go to bed. If I'm making it for dinner I put it on in the morning.

  • I meant "on low" not on high. Sorry. :)

  • First it depends on the weight of it. A five lb roast would be set on 320 for five hours. Well covered. It is a lot faster if you cook it in a pressure cooker for about the third of the time! Hope this helps...Enjoy
