  • Insanity..hands down the most intense, results giving workout I've ever done. It is a 60 day program. The first time I did it I lost 12 lbs and 2". I just restarted it yesterday for kicks and giggles...(I'm normally not sore after working out, but I can barely move today...note to self- don't take a month off from working out again!!LOL)

Insanity is produced by BeachBody and is about $140 for 10 DVDs but well worth the investment.. it is not for beginners though. It is E.V.I.L. I jokingly call Shaun T ( the trainer) the devil while I'm doing it. It is very gratifying to see the uber fit people in the DVDs falling out in exhaustion.

  • The Turbo Jam series is my favorite and like Insanity mentioned above, it's available through Beachbody.
With so many different types of workout DVDs, it would be helpful to know what type of routine you like...dancey? boot campish? What's your style?

  • I don't know, but I'd LOVE a Sweatin' to the Oldies DVD! Our friend is sending us P90X. Apparently, that's pretty high speed.
