What do you do for back pain that does not cost alot of money?

  • I have a bad back, surgery in 2000 and arthritis. 800mg. of Ibuprofen (4 Advil or Motrin).

  • Strengthen your core - midsection. Watch your posture. Keep a light exercise regimen.

  • A heating pad always helps me. I get terrible back pain during my time of the month. It always helps me.

  • I agree with gabenmikeysmom. I have arthritis and 2 hernieated discs. I've found that stretching helps a lot.

  • I was amazed when Physical Therapists taught me stretches to help alleviate my back pain. I'm off all pain meds and was taking 2400 mg of Motrin a day. Now I just stretch. I agree to work on the core and posture as well. Just google back stretches.

  • heating pad and ibuprofen for me. i throw my back out constantly....im only 25, its terrible =(
