How do you make your dumplings?

fluffy or thick. I like the heavier ones with chicken and fluffy with my beef stew.

  • I use my regular biscuit dough, roll it out, and pinch it off. Then I just drop it into the boiling broth and cook them until they're done. Makes me hungry just thinking about them.

  • I do a mixture because my husband likes thicker dumplings and I like fluffy dumplings.

  • I make them heavier with chicken. I just take the stock from the chicken and mix it together with well salted flour till the dough is not sticky - roll it about the same thickness as a cracker and then cut with a pizza cutter :)

  • Thick, though we haven't made them in a while - been experimenting with gnocchi instead.
