ok im 34 weeks pregnant and i laid down for a nap and like usual when i get up my hips hurt really bad and it hard to walk. but i got up and began cookin and i felt wet so i went to the bath room and had a fair amount of blood in my panties i called the dr she said it was my mucous plug but it isnt slimy its a bright red blood when i went back to the bathroom to check when i wiped it was bright red and had some small clots on the tissue... any suggestions???

  • go to the hospital did you actually talk to your dr or just the nurse? if you only actually talked to the nurse then id be calling my dr make sure she relizes its bright red. a mucus plug is usualy sticky and more of a brownish pink not bright red.

  • Go to the ER. You could be going into preterm labor or something could be wrong. You don't want to take chances when it comes to the health of you and your baby.
