what are some good methods (besides meds) to help with cramps?

  • As crazy as it sounds, I do sit-ups and it helps quite a bit. A heating pad helps too.

  • A nice long soak in the jacuzzi works wonders for me. A heating pad is wonderful. I don't think I could handle laying off the caffeine and chocolate - I need those for mood enhancers when cramps come around. LOL I have heard to avoid alcohol, as well.

  • I do love those pads that heat up and you wear them around. They are disposable too. Which makes them a bit pricey but I still love them.
