What to do with left over ham?

I have a bone in ham that we made on sunday. We are getting tired of just ham, any ideas what to do with it would be great.

  • soup & sandwitches.

You can also get some pillsbury cresent rolls, a little mustard, some swiss cheese....roll it all up in the cresent rolls & bake. Yummy hot ham & swiss rolls. They're super good!

  • I section mine up and throw it in the freezer. The bone especially would be great to use in a soup, but will be fine in the freezer for several months. From the freezer I use ham in soups, casseroles, omelets...

  • Cook it with pineapples and their juice, or make croquettes.

  • Make a pasta dish like the creamy ones and cut up the ham and mix it in. U can make grilled cheese and ham sandwiches too.

  • Chop up your ham. Cook some diced potatoes and onion until almost tender, then add some frozen or canned peas. Add your ham and then either stir in some grated cheese or put the ham and veggies in a casserole dish and top with the cheese. If you are careful not to cook the potatoes in too much water, you won't have to add anything else. If necessary, you can either make a white sauce or add a can of cream of some kind of soup. It's a very tasty, nutritious way to use up leftover ham. Add a salad and a roll, and you've got a pretty nice dinner.

  • Cut it all off the bone. Freeze the ham for later use, and make soup with the bone. Or freeze the bone to make soup later.
