What's your favorite from-scratch recipe?

I'm talking about recipes that contain no processed foods (i.e. something from a can or including the word Helper).

  • My chicken over rice. Of course, I do used canned cream of soups, but it's still a family favorite!!

  • That is hard, my husband does the majority of cooking and everything he makes is from scratch. We rarely eat frozen/processed stuff. My favorite would be a tie between his blackened salmon and oven fried chicken. The oven fried chicken is in no way processed and we use olive oil sprinkled onto the chicken while it bakes you can really taste the herbs he uses and it is not greasy and is so crunchy, it is bomb!
