Why do we get those dreadful little hairs on our chins, black at that what in the heck are they for, I always pluck them out, but who will when I get to old. Lol

  • you could try having the area lasered. just be sure to do it before they start turning white, as the laser only 'reads' color. its most effective on lighter skin, with dark hair. there's a few possible side-effects, however. light scarring, pigmentation..nothing dramatic, and its not necessarily permanent, although it may result in thinner, lighter-colored hair. some hairs may be more resistant, and not be affected at all by the laser's rays.
    otherwise, keep a pair of tweezers handy..i keep mine in the car, where i can see the hairs better (natural sunlight).

  • It's a hormonal issue. Not enough, too much. I've seen girls as young as 12 with them.

  • I was at the mirror once and noticed a looong hair between my chin and my neck, I thought from my head. When I pulled it the skin beneath my chin came with it. OMG! I flipped out! I mean, how did this hair get 8 inches long and me not notice? Gross, so now I am constantly checking to make sure it doesn't grow back.
