In Home Evaluation?

Due to my son's speech delay and other behaviors we are in the process of getting a diagnosis of a possible sensory disorder or even somewhere on the spectrum. We just requested an in home evaluation through our state department. (thank you to those of you who pointed out this was an option in my last question) Has anyone else done this? What is the evaluation like? Do they just come and watch him, or do they bring activities for him to do? I'm kind of nervous about it, but being as frustrated as I am I know we need this support.

  • when my son had his, he just watched him and then would try to get him to do things (like bring me shoes or other various items) then he had this book and would point out pics and try to get my son to label them. that was all, it only took like 30 mins
