  • Have you tried getting medicare? You really need to see the doctor while you're pregnant.

  • At 10 weeks it's not a HUGE deal. Many doctors won't make prenatal appointments before 8-10 weeks anyway, unless there's a past or current problem. But you will need to see a care provider. Try applying for Medicaid; there's a pregnancy medicaid that has less stringent income requirements, and the fetus counts as one of your household; they also cover medical bills retroactively for the 3 months prior to your approval. You could also look into hiring a midwife instead of an OB; they can be much cheaper. Or you can set up a payment plan with a doctor/hospital.

  • Medicaid can take a long time. But you need to get in to be seen. If you go to your local Medicaid office and tell them you have applied or apply there they will give you a sheet saying that you have applied with a stamp on it. Find a doctor or midwife that accepts medicaid and when making an appointment explain that you have applied for medicaid and are waiting on being accepted. Many places will defer payments for while so you can get approved. BUt if they don't they you will have to pay out of pocket and submit to the state medicaid program your bills and a claim to be reimbursed.

  • medicaid is a really good program you should sign up for it. Also get checked at a pregnancy resource center, your ultra sound and checkups would be free till your too far along.

  • Medicaid will back pay three months so you can go get at least one check up while you wait.
