  • his doctor didn't give him guidelines? I'll be honest I don't know, but what I would do is either ask his doctor for guidelines or a referral to a covered nutritionist/dietician

  • less fried foods, junk foods, more grilled foods, oatmeal, salmon, fiber, more water intake. it really is a change of diet. his doctor probably should give him a prescription for a medicine that can help lower his number as well while eating more healthy.

  • Does he have a family disposition for Increased readings? So people no matter their diet will require meds to bring their readings within normal range.

  • Less saturated fat (no fried foods, processed foods, fast foods, junk foods). More Fiber. Cook with olive oil.

  • Not sure...I would imagine you should cut out junk food, fried food, processed foods, etc. Fruits, veggies, oatmeal, stuff like that would be good.
