  • cool rag on her forehead and or neck...NO blankets no socks...tylenol
if it goes up put her in a lukewarm (not cool/cold) shower or bath and continue with the other stuff
    and have her drink fluids

  • You can also give a dose of tylenol, but some ice packs around her, or a lukewarm bath. Make sure she is taking in plenty of fluids and call her doc in the morning just to check in.

  • How else is she acting? What are the other symptoms. You can give her a lukewarm bath or wipe her down with lukewarm water to help bring the fever down. Keep her hydrated...a couple ounces of clear liquids every 20 minutes or so. I would just watch her until tomorrow and if the fever doesn't go down or she has new symptoms, then call the doctor.

  • I'd wait thru the night, the fever may be fighting off a flu or something else. That's how our body fights for us. But in the morning if the fever stays the same or is worse go get an IV, IV's are magic jk, but that's what I do, once I had a fever for 48 hours, no meds helped.

  • has she never had a fever? I would do a luke warm bath...alternate tylenol and ibuprofin....go on how she acts some kids can be 99 and look seriously ill while other may have a high fever but are moving around and doing stuff. my middle child always runs high temps when she is sick. Call the doc if really concerned and see what they suggest....
