can a divorce be stopped?

okay we decided to stop it all and try, we have a court date Jan 18th for a divorce hearing can we stop it will be get into trouble we live in Ohio any answers will help we both have lawyers

  • Just contact the lawyers and tell them that you aren't going to get divorced. You're not going to get in trouble.

  • Just call your lawyers. It definitely can be stopped at any time before final papers are signed. You won't be in any trouble.

  • The lawyers can remove the date form the court docket, it's done all the time. Don't worry!

  • Call your lawyer and tell him you want to drop the divorce. It doesn't matter that a date has been set already. I stopped mine the morning of our hearing and it was fine.
