  • I love making my lasagna but I make the sauce from scratch and it tends to get expensive. My dad is going to teach me how to make the lasagna noodles since he is currently studying for his cooking degree. =)

The first time my sister's SO saw how I made my sauce, he looked at her and said, "Now THAT'S how you make spaghetti sauce!"

  • I make my sauce from scratch as well, but my ex's Mom who was from Italy (love italian men mmm!) taught me how to make it. Takes me all day but is totally worth it.

We make most things from scratch in this household so I'm not overwhelmed by buying fresh everything, and seeing the grocery bill total after lol. It's much more expensive, but so much healthier and DEFINITELY more delicious.
