Do you bake a cake for your family for Valentine's Day?

I just bought the cutest heart cake pan at Dollar General for $2.00. Bought 2 so I can make a layer cake and frost it with cream cheese frosting. They had some really fun stuff.

  • Valentines day isn't really a big deal in our house... Those pans sound cute though.

  • Mmm sounds like fun! I have never made a cake for Valentines Day - I usually do cookies if anything. But that cake pan would have me bakin' for sure! :o)

  • I actually have a 3-tier heart pan set with the plates & everything that I use for Valentine's cakes. I usually make a yellow cake with chocokate frosting & strawberry decorations.

  • Yes---I have two heart shaped pans and I think it is fun to do that for the family. Valentine's Day is a sweet occasion.
I can't imagine not ever baking a cake. Wow.

  • Nope, I've never baked for Valentine's Day. We always get heat-shaped boxes of candy. :-)

  • No. We don't do anything special for Valentine's Day.

  • I've baked cupcakes for valentine's day but usually the cake itself is devils food cake since that is a favorite around here.
