  • When that happens I will rethink my views.
Just like when the age of viability changes, I will think my views.

  • I'm pro life. I don't care if the baby that comes out of me is gay, purple, or the cookie monster.

  • Pro-choice is not pro-abortion. It is simply the recognition that we cannot choose for another person and dictate the decision they make no matter how much we may disagree(and yes, you will find that many who are pro-choice are against abortion especially when used as birth control but we cannot make that decision for another).

  • No, I'm asking if it would bother you that people were getting abortions solely because their child's "gay test" came up positive

You mean just like some do if their fetus tests positive for issues like Down Syndrome. I might disagree until I turn blue but ultimately it is not my decision to make. I would rely on education to help prevent against and decrease the number taking place.

  • Lots of reasons why people get abortions bother me

    I am still pro-choice.

    Yes, I would still be

and yes I would judge someone for doing it for that reason

same as I judge someone for using it as birth control

  • Now personally I wouldn't abort a Down's baby, a gay baby, or for any reason I can fathom unless my life was immediately at risk and even then I'm not sure what my choice would be.

  • Ergh.... okay..... odd question.

I don't care if my kid is gay if that's what you're asking. Nor do I believe in abortion.

  • Devils advocate statement...

Aren't a lot of people who are against abortion the same people that are against gay rights?

  • Yes, I would. Only thing I can think of that might change my mind would be scientific advances lowering the age of viability. Your womb, your business not mine.
