Do you think not vaccinating should be illegal?

The post about wether it should be illegal to not have prenatal care made me curious about this one.

In some states it is illegal to refuse vaccines.

  • I do not think it should be at all. I was just reading an article about parents being held at gunpoint while thier kids were dragged away and vaccinated. OMG!

  • i dont know if it should be illegal but i think it should be more strictly handled like the person must have a really good reason such as an allergy or religous reason, not just because they dont like them. im sure the parent would feel different about shots when their child is near death or dies because of something like polio or measles when they could have prevented it. not only that the whole goal is to erradicate those diseases from the world. and the whole mmr/autistm thoery has just been debunked so thats no longer an excuse.

  • I am one who does give my son all the vaccines but I do feel that if you do not then your child should not attend school if they are feeling ill.
