  • No. And no worse than babies I know who did get the erythromycin.

  • Neither of my kids got it. My daughter was totally fine, my son got a little bit goopy. All I did was put breastmilk in his eyes and it cleared right up :)

  • Yes had the ointment and my youngest DD had clogged tear ducts. Are you having the issue?

  • All of mine had it and my third had goopy eye. It cleared up at around 6 months.

  • U DONT HAVE TO GET THE EYE CRAP!!!! so no we didnt do the eye crap and no we have not had a problem!

  • Yes dd got the ointment, and no she never had any issues. And you have to sign a consent for it, and you can choose not to have it administered if you don't want it.

    Yes, received ointmenet.

    No issues that I can recall

    #2, DS:
    No ointment.

    He did have a little discharge when he was a few weeks old, but we (and the doctor) believed it was related to a cold he was getting. A little breastmilk in the eye cleared it right up.
