How do I copy and paste on my MacBook?

I feel dumb but I have looked everywhere, see copy and paste under edit but it is not black so don't know what to do.
Need help from computer geeks. LOL

  • Command, C for copy, and command V for paste. Command X for Cut.

  • Also, when you do the "edit" drop down, the short cuts are next to the action (if that makes sense). So you'll see the infinity symbol and a V for Paste when you pull down that menu. This way, you can see what other command short hand there is. =)
