I'm just a little unsure. I've missed my period now by a week and today I had some slight brown spotting that has now stopped. I did take a pregnancy test 2 days ago that came up negative. I feel like I could be pregnant but sometimes I feel like it is just in my head, I do have some other symptoms such as feeling bloated, increased hunger, heartburn (which I haven't experienced since my last pregnancy) and breast tenderness. Has this (the spotting) ever happened to anyone who did end up pregnant?

  • I think most people have some spotting in the beginning. I'd wait a few more days then take another test.

  • best friend had weird periods and she didn't think anything about the lil spotting......she found out that she was 5 months preggers with TWINS..cuz apparently you can spot with twins.....take another pregnancy test or maybe even go to the doctors..they can order a blood test...don't freak just yet but I just wanted to give ya a heads up...Does twins run in your family?

  • No, twins don't run on either side of the family, thank goodness. One is enough to handle, adding one more child, ok, but two, oh heavens! I think I'll just wait to see how this next week or two spans out. Waiting is the hardest part. I just don't remember spotting with my son thats all...

  • It could just be implantation bleeding. I spotted at 12 weeks after DH and I had sex, but I think you're a little early for your cervix to be that sensitive. Give it a few days and test again.

And I must say it's refreshing to see an "Am I pregnant" post where someone already took a test! lol
