question about dpo??????

So I am wondering if im caluclating this right when you are counting you dpo do you count it from you most fertile day or from the first day or the last day? I have been counting it from the day that I was most likely to conceive on and i want to make sure Im doing it right please help

  • You need to know when you ovulate to do DPO and then it would be 1 DPO the day after you ovulate. If you are using a chart that tells you according to your cycle length its not 100% they are going on avg. people but some people have shorter luteal phases while other have a longer one.

  • You count it from the day you ovulate.

    You only ovulate on 1 day (2 if you release more than one egg but that would happen within 24 hours of the first egg being released). You can have 5 fertile days where you have fertile mucus but you only ovulate one day.

    You need to chart with a BBT thermometer in order to do DPO.
