How long do you wear your nails?

Mine had always been pretty long (about 1/2 the length of my nail bed) until I had kids. Now I wear them about half that long. :-)

  • About the same when I get them french tip. But I usually keep them short when they are natural. I'm to lazy for the up keep :)

  • My whole life, so far

My nails are short. I type far too much in a day to be able to tolerate longer nails, and I hate stirring things with my nails digging into my hands.

  • I go through moods where they will get so long and I will chop them all off.

  • I have kept mine really short since 1967 when I had my first baby and accidentally scratched her leg when I was changing her diaper. :-(
I am still keeping them VERYshort becaise I am changing my granddaughter's diapers. I have never been impressed with long nails anyway.

  • Short, so many germs are under nails.

  • I've always worn mine long (about 1/2 inch past the finger tip) ever since I stopped biting 25 years ago.

IMO long nails are cleaner.  When I break one, it's really difficult keeping it clean because stuff easily gets caught under the nail.
