Do you still hand write letters?

I'm researching for a book I'm writing. Do you think letter writing is a lost art? When was the last time you wrote a letter. Not memo, or email, or note. How often?

Do you think it has something to do with your generation? Do you think it will eventually become "something people used to do"?

  • I wrote a letter to my grandma last night. I still write letters about once a month or twice a month to family members out of state.

  • I still write letters to people who are out of state I just love the excitement of sending them and recieiving them . I can shot an email off anytime but letters take time to really give your heart and understand what need to be said.

  • Writing letters is truly a lost art! I'm from the old school and I do hand write letters. In cursive :) Which is also a lost art.

  • I write letters several times a month. It's mostly because the people that I hand write to, don't know how to use a computer.

  • I write out the letter when it is really meaningful. An email isn't going to convey the same compassion. I am 31.
