If I have unlimited texting...would that count for texting someone in another country?

I have unlimited texting and a friend of mine recently moved out of the country and I don't know If i can text her without it charging me extra?

Does anyone know about that?

I don't have unlimited minutes so I know if I call it will cost extra but what about texting?

  • Ask your service provider --they're the ones doing the billing, they're the ones who know for sure. Some do and some don't.

  • Depending on the carrier, some do charge an internation rate for text.

  • Ask the company, but normally as long as YOU are still in this country, it doesn't count any differently. I'm sure it varies, though.
