How can I stop my 7 year old boy, from being curious of his 5 year old sister?.....

HE KEEPS PULLING DOWN HER PANTS AND WATCHING HER WHEN SHE GOES TO THE BATHROOM AND MY FIANCE AND I BOTH HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING TO TALK TO HIM TO EXPLAIN THAT THIS IS NOT GOOD BEHAVIOR AND WERE JUST AT A DEAD END.

  • What is 'everything'?

Simple, sensible family rules: one at a time in the bathroom; undressing in private only; KEEP YOUR HANDS TO YOURSELF; et cetera, have a handy way of applying to all kinds of things.

No 7yo on the planet has the Voice Command Software pre-loaded... so you need to supervise him (and her) 100% of the time, and repeat and reinforce the rules over and over and over and over again. I'm sorry if you thought parenting would be something else. This is what parenting is: supervising and guiding children from infancy to adulthood. Not infancy until 4. Or 14.

  • Punish the 7 year old for crossing the line and keep reinforcing that this is his sister and not to be looking...........private parts are just that PRIVATE!

  • Your making excuses. Clearly! YOU ARE NOT DOING ENOUGH...Thats just NASTY! PUT A STOP TO IT, and that is NOT normal behavior. He needs to be be told, but you only need to tell him once, LIKE YOU MEAN IT.

  • Some of these answers are fuckin crazy!! Keep talking to him and make sure he understands that private parts are private!

Funny, somebody else wrote a question like this a while back and everyone said, "oh it's just normal curiosity" Funny how answers vary from day to day around here! Some of the answers were from the same ones that are on this thread.
