  • My son is turning 12 in May and we are throwing him a "Minute to Win It" party. We are going to make several of the games and give prizes to kids that complete them.

  • If you live near a university, take 2 or 3 friends to a college basketball game, or a hockey game. That's what we did for my son's birthday last year. This year, we are taking him and 2 of his friends to see the movie Tron and then out for pizza and then back to our house for cake and ice cream.

  • It all depends on what you are wanting to spend. You could do an obstacle course at home with prizes. You could have a water balloon toss, 3 legged race, potato sac race, sponge race where there is a bucket of water and a sponge you use to wash a car and dip the sponge in the water and race to the other side where there is an empty bucket and see which team can get more water into the bucket with the sponge only in a designated time....if you have a Wii it could be a Wii party with a dance off or a race off with certain games.....
    good luck!

  • Paint ball, skate park, take the boys to the movie theater or a concert. Go karts, camping (even in the back yard)

  • Ask him what he'd like to do, unless of course it's a surprise. Swimming, paint balling, sporting event...or like all the other women said above...those things.
